“I visited a number of preschools and nurseries prior to sending our son Teddy, as this was a huge step for me and to be honest, I knew separation anxiety would set in for both myself and my son. For whatever reason, I couldn’t decide on a nursery until I entered Little Forest, which was recommended to me. Laura was instantly full of information and I could see how passionate she was about the nursery and enthusiastic about the children. Her face beamed, my nerves began to settle and, for the first time, I was at ease with the whole process. My son, who, to be honest, didn’t warm to many people, instantly took warmth towards Laura and I knew I had finally found the perfect place to start his education.

Teddy took some time to settle down as he missed his mummy, but Laura was amazing in working with us to help get him in and keep me updated. Later, his key worker moved to Clair, who Teddy became very fond of. Clair has spent a lot of time going the extra mile assisting with potty training tips, sending images to help build Teddy’s confidence, building a progression plan for Teddy, arranging meetings with me to discuss Teddy’s progress and development, assisting with sleep ideas and getting him dressed when i cannot get Spider-Man pyjamas off him. Although Little Forest has a number of children, I always feel one-to-one contact is there with no judgement but support if you need it. I can see how proud Clair and the team are to work there and their passion and drive to help the children is so warming.

The app keeps us updated with lovely images of his activities, nappy changes, meals and useful information, but Little Forest goes beyond this and I love the personal handover after each session of Teddy’s day.

We enjoyed a fantastic sports day and Christmas nativity last year when you could see how much effort the whole team had put in to make it exciting for the children.

Teddy loves playing in the forest and has come on leaps and bounds since joining. I don’t think I can tell enough people about it.”
