Healthy Eating

At Little Forest Preschool, we are proud to offer a rolling menu, carefully prepared by our trusted food supplier, Zebedees. As part of our all-inclusive approach, we provide a full range of meals, snacks, and drinks throughout the day for your child. Please do note that we are a water only environment.

A typical day at Little Forest includes breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and tea.

We are passionate about supporting healthy eating habits in young children. Our menus are designed to limit sugary foods, unhealthy fats, and additives, while ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet that encourages children to enjoy a wide variety of foods. All meals are delivered fresh by Zebedees.

We are also delighted to share that Little Forest Preschool has been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating for the second time, reflecting our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Our menus are displayed outside the preschool entrance and are also available via our preschool app, so you can stay informed about what your child is eating each day.

As part of our ongoing care arrangements, we make sure to cater to a wide range of dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that every child’s nutritional requirements are met with care and attention.

Our preschool

“Ella is the youngest of our three children who have all attended LFPS.

The team are amazing. I work too many hours and don’t see enough of my children but it is comforting to know that Ella is in a setting that is loving and nurturing. My kids are confident little monkeys and have easily transitioned into their infant school. It is clear to my wife and I that the team care deeply about their role in our children’s lives.

I’m pretty sure that Laura and her team could be used as an example to other nurseries to show just how well it can be done.

I’ll be sad for Ella to start school as that will be the end of this chapter.

Outstanding is probably not enough.”
